Peace Work, an adaptation of the Alternatives to Violence Project* (AVP), is a miraculous means to heal the wounds & celebrate the wonder. Utilizing a collection of thoughtfully constructed activities designed to affirm, invite play & cooperation, as well as release stockpiled energy non-confrontationally, decades of torment can melt beneath new awareness, exposing deep appreciation. This magic applies to other close-knit groups as well: departments, boards, roommates, etc. Where there is a genuine desire for improved relations, Peace Work’s “Transforming Power” is inevitable.

*Alternatives to Violence Project is a prison-based program initiated by incarcerated people & fashioned by Quakers & Civil Rights leaders, after the Attica uprising. It’s made inroads into 65 countries. There are many thousands of well-trained “sleeper cells”; folks that could be put to amazingly transformative work, all over the planet.”
