Leading for the Deep Future

Yona Frenchhawk, Cherokee wisdom keeper, will show us how an indigenous way of leadership and being brings us deeply in tune with the deep past, deep future and deep present.

Bio: Yona FrenchHawk is a member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Born and raised in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. Yona is a gifted ceremonialist, singer, storyteller. He is also Minister of Indigenous Ritual and Ceremony at Jubilee! Community Church located in Asheville, North Carolina, a Creation Spirituality community. (jubileecommunity.org)
Yona shares his insights and visions from his traditional Cherokee upbringing and teachers. Many of which are his tribal medicine women and men past and present.
Helping to build the bridge that connects the Ancient Past to the Ancient Future is Yona’s life work. And doing it with Love, Honor, and Compassion. **
