The first part is an audiovisual introduction to the Muses. The main part is a Musical Meditation offering a unique experience. The musical composition consists of nine interconnected movements, inspired by and dedicated to the Nine Muses of Mythology. There is a minimal framework, with references to modal harmony and an aesthetic approach of return-experimentation, based on the beginning of musical creation and expression in the ancient world.
The daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne (Remembrance) gave us humans the gift of inspiration and art. Art connects the Human with the Divine. This is the source of inspiration for this composition, which intends to explore the essence between Woman and Goddess, between the Physical and the Ethereal.
{MUSE was presented in the UK as the Main Presentation Project for the first degree (BA Hons New Music & Media) that I completed at UCLan and it got an 88% Distinction (70% considered the highest score one can be awarded), as an innovative composition, also leading to a scholarship for my MA By Research in Musical Composition}.
This presentation at The World Unity Week will be the worldwide premiere of the music, which is going to be released on the same day or shortly after. Following this presentation, I aim to produce and present a related ritual performance during Peace Week, ideally live streaming. My vision and intention with this project are to offer a beautiful spiritual/musical experience, help people remember their Higher Divine Nature, and connect with it on an energetic level, through sound.
