PLENARY EVENT: Youth Speak Up

A forum of young people sharing what matters to them and what they ask of the New Earth Rising community to support them in being the future leaders we all need.
We connect youth from Los Angeles, St.Louis and across the globe. To talk about real things, to ask each other questions they seldom get to ask and to share the wisdom and insight that comes from being our next generation of change makers.
Speakers:
Anais – My name is Anais, I am 17 years old and a junior at AVCHS. My favorite things to do in my free time is read and discover new music/make playlists. I enjoy playing volleyball and play on my school’s team as a setter.
Willy – My name is Willy, I’m a junior in high school and i like going out to watch the sunsets.
Nathen – My name is Nathen and I am 14 years old and I am freshman at East Valley High School. Im in the junior varsity basketball team and I am passionate about speaking up against injustice and letting other kids know it’s ok to have a bad day.
Cruz – My name is Zola Cruz, I am 13 years old and I am home schooled. I moved to America with my parents from Uganda in 2020 and am working as an actor inbetween my studies.
