For millennia, we were told to repress our sexuality and were conditioned to see it as a shameful and dark part of ourselves. Traditionally, women were divided into ‘mothers’ or ‘harlots’ which left a permanent scar on our psyche. Dr Joanna Kujawa uncovers the lineage of goddesses who celebrated their erotic wisdom and were seen as portals between death and life, lower and higher consciousness. Find out how Mary Magdalene is at the center of her investigation, along with the goddesses of ancient Sumer, Egypt and esoteric Hinduism.
DR. JOANNA KUJAWA is the author of the bestselling book The Other Goddess: Mary Magdalene and the Goddesses of Eros and Secret Knowledge’, scholar, and spiritual detective.
