Dr. William Spady is known as “The Father of Outcome-Based Education” (OBE). Recognized as a dynamic and compelling presenter, Dr. Spady has lectured at major educational conferences throughout the world on cutting-edge approaches to OBE, leadership development, awakening human potential, paradigm change, and learner empowerment.
In this session, participants will be introduced to the discipline of Holistic Design (HD). We define HD as any methodology that focuses on the interconnected and interdependent nature of all things to inform the rules and processes of design. Holistically designed templates are generated on a foundation of Ecocentrism which places everything that is and sustains life, at the center of the value system.
We will focus on Sustainable buildings and eco projects that restore nature and communities over exploitation—shifting to what made humans the dominant species on the planet which is our ability to build community, collaboration, and creation.
