Life Skills
Room Description
Life Skills are the skills each of us learn in some measure, simply by occupying the body human. Examples include emotional, environmental and financial literacy. Exercised multiple times daily, Life Skills are core to individuals and the communities they create thriving. Ironically, most people learn the bulk of their Life Skills from people seldom formally educated themselves – parents. In this room, professionals from six continents (Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America) describe how and why they have dedicated their lives to improving Life Skills educational practices – for people of all ages.
